During your stay and/or booking at the R&B “Il Bivio”, the following personal data may be collected and processed:

  • Personal and contact details (name, surname, address, telephone number, email address);
  • Data relating to identity documents required for public safety purposes;
  • Payment details (only if required for the booking);
  • Any data communicated voluntarily (special requests, intolerances, specific needs);
  • Images recorded by the video surveillance system, installed in the common areas of the facility (parking and reception).


3. Purpose of the processing

Personal data are processed for the following purposes:

  1. Management of reservations, stays and related tax and accounting obligations;
  2. Fulfillment of obligations under public safety regulations (communication to authorities);
  3. Management of contact or information requests;
  4. Protecting the safety of people and property through video surveillance in common areas;
  5. Sending promotional or informational communications only with the explicit consent of the interested party.


4. Legal basis for processing

  • Execution of the hospitality contract (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b GDPR);
  • Fulfillment of legal obligations (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter c GDPR);
  • The legitimate interest of the data controller in the safety of persons and property (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f GDPR) regarding video surveillance.


5. Video surveillance

The cameras installed in the common areas of the "Il Bivio" B&B are used exclusively for security and protection of people and property. The images are recorded and retained for a maximum of 7 (seven) days, unless further retention is required in the event of a legal investigation or at the request of the competent authority. The video-monitored area is marked with specific information signs compliant with GDPR.


6. Data processing methods and security

Processing is carried out using paper and digital tools, with appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure data security and confidentiality.


7. Communication and dissemination of data

The data may be communicated to:

  • Public security authorities or other competent authorities required by law;
  • Tax or legal advisors of the owner (to the extent necessary);
  • IT or management service providers, duly appointed as data controllers.

The data will not be disclosed or transferred outside the European Union.


8. Rights of the interested party

The interested party may, at any time, exercise the rights provided for in Articles 15-22 of the GDPR:

  • Access to your data;
  • Rectification or erasure (“right to be forgotten”);
  • Limitation or opposition to processing;
